About The Publisher: Kaleigh Fortune

Hi there!
I’m Kaleigh, your publisher for Macaroni KID Weymouth-Canton-Quincy!

I’ve proudly called Weymouth home since 2009 and have been raising my family here ever since. I’m a mom to six wonderful kids—two boys and four girls—spanning a wide range of ages and stages: 19, 14, 11, 6, 5, and 3 years old. Our lively household also includes our 12-year-old Pomeranian-Yorkie pup and five beloved cats!

Because of my big, busy family, I’m always on the lookout for events and activities that appeal to all ages—from toddlers to teens—whether it’s something we can enjoy together or individually based on their interests. I know firsthand how important it is to find fun that fits every season of life!

A little more about me:

• I’m passionate about mental health advocacy and believe in lifting up families in all areas of life.
• I’m also an artist and the proud owner of Handful of Fortunes, my professional face painting and kids' paint night business. You can find me on Instagram and Facebook sharing creative fun!
• I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for most of my motherhood journey and launched my small business in 2021.
• I joined the Macaroni KID family in August 2024, and while I'm new to publishing, I’m a fast learner and incredibly excited to serve our community!

When I'm not working, you can find me spending time with my amazing village of mom friends (so grateful for MomCo, formerly MOPS—it truly saved my sanity!), swimming, painting, doing yoga, barre and soaking up the outdoors whenever I can.

I'm so excited to connect families with the best local events, activities, and resources across Weymouth, Braintree, Quincy, Stoughton, Avon, Canton, Randolph, Holbrook, and Easton. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey—I can't wait to share all the fun with you!
